On Saturday, April 11, 2009, volunteers of the Boy's and Girl's Club of Lebanon spent the day working on the baseball fields at Bob Smith Memorial Park.  City of Lebanon employee, Jason Williams, and the Boy's and Girl's club are working in partnership with the City of Lebanon to develop Bob Smith Memorial Baseball fields into a playing surface that will attract tournaments and teams from outside the local area to come and play.  These events will supply a boost to the local economy as visitors patronize local hotels, restaurants and stores.

Jason Williams and the Boy's and Girl's club have volunteered many hours to improve the fields.  Their next project for Bob Smith Memorial Park will be to build a concession stand.  The City of Lebanon is proud of the time and effort Jason has committed to the Boy's and Girl's Club of Lebanon in an effort to support kids of Lebanon.
